I second that notion I mean for that price you might as well get a very nice laptop.

I don't know about a VERY nice laptop, because I'm just a hardware junkie. $699 will not buy ME a very nice laptop. It's also a non-contract price...

I doubt it, the CEO of Motorola said more than once that there was going to no Blur on the Droid X. But, the X came with Blur. Still people on other sites still quote him and think the X is Blurless. I so hope the XOOM is Blurless. Motorola makes great hardware but their software (Blur) sucks big time.

I got to play with this beautiful creation yesterday from out stores Motorola rep and let me tell you, it is the next best thing. The only thing that makes me doubtful of world domination is the fact that these tablets that keep coming out are "carrier specific". For what reason? Branding Verizons name on it does not make it a better product however it makes those whom are technologically incompetent think it has to be on the network, etc. I vote for better advertising on something of this nature because we have 2 galaxy tablets sitting in the drawer and not one person has even asked about them since we received. Probably because of the price tag... just sayin.
