An unconfirmed industry source has tipped the name to be Samsung Galaxy Nexus, with a curved 4.65" HD Super AMOLED display, and a thin metal shell, to be launched in October as the Android ICS poster child...

And I think you mean underclocking. If you shoot the processor speed higher you drain the battery much quicker. Android is seriously a pain in the ass. When you get to your third device and have the same problems all of the time you will look for another phone. And yeah, it is impossible to make an app work for the 100's that come out weekly. Which is retarded because the phone next month will be better than the GSII, then something will be better than the prime, so on and so forth. It's a stupid game that Google is playing. I'm not going to be a robo-bitch anymore because the OS will always have the same problems. The hardware is there, but the OS itself is complete s**t. Just my opinion.

and watch the iphony still smash the super epic touch galaxy nexus s in sales. a 1 year old iphone 4 sold over 20 million units last quarter. how many units did the the galaxy s 2 sell? this is why android users always have to bring the iphone into every article.

Wait.. who has a huge lead in market share? What? Oh yeah.. Android! yes, the iPhone outsells everything on a model by model basis, and it IS a great phone.

BUT.. I am smarter than the marketing jugernaut that Apple is.. I don't give a damn how many devices they sell. I buy Android for what it does and how I can customize it.. not because they sold more to my tech inept neighbors.

Well considering how I smashed my DROID Charge's screen last night along with it being dropped a few times and then thrown into a wall, I think I will be paying full retail for the Nexus Prime (DROID Prime) (Galaxy Nexus) (SGS3) (GODALMIGHTYSUPERPHONE)

Went to my local VZW to buy the Bionic and really wasnt sold on it, the girl helping me asked why and I told her that I was really waiting for the Samsung Nexus phone that's coming out around NOV, she seem really suprised I knew that there was a next gen samsung phone coming out then. I ask her why she was suprised and she said she JUST had a visit from her Samsung reps saying and talking about the phone I was just talking to her about would be coming out around that time and it might be called the Galaxy Nexus! She said she's never seen an rep from any company that excited about a phone and that it is going to blow people away. So needless to say I didn't buy the Bionic lol, she said smart move! So like the rest of you I am super hopefully that this is infact true! Here's hoping....

Why on earth would one need a 12 megapixel camera? An 8 is even too large really. Unless you're planning on blowing up monstrous prints lol. The difference between Apple and the competitor is they don't do anything half ass. Hence, putting out a phone with a bunch of dumb features like 12 megapixels. Instead, Samsung should spend more money on their plastic crap phones build quality!

So, typical of the (i)phoneArena. They purposefully over-hype any phone that can crush iphone, before it's launched, so when that phone is actually launched, it doesnt meet the gullible user's expectations, thus turning him towards an iphone. There is NOT A SINGLE ARTICLE here about non iphone flagship phones, that doesnt contain the strategically placed word, 'iphone'. Mentioned under the disguise of comparison, or as an alternative. You people make me sick.

90% chance that phoneArena.com is funded (bribed) by apple.

(See. we can make rumors too)
