I really don't see the point of this dock...
Am I missing something? why isn't there a video out plug or USB ports, or SD slot...
This is not attractive for a company that does the best docks for tablets, phones and laptops...

$40? Why so much? Did they have to pay Apple licensing fees?

$40 to replicate ports already found on the tablet... and just to prop it up?
For me that's debatable... but I can't argue that much, I dont have the Nexus 7 to properly comment whether this dock is justifiable...
Anyway if I had a tablet, I wouldn't spend 40 bucks on this... I rather buy a bunch of paid apps, or a case, or bluetooth controller, or a wireless keyboard...
But this does not extend the functionality of a tablet so much... maybe if they were asking $ 20

Agreed. I have a Nexus 7 and could see paying $19.99 max for this docking station

Although the Nexus Dock is appealing, I bought a fake leather case/bluetooth detachable keyboard/ stylus holder $25 on overstock.
