Nexus 7 Dock finally hits the Google Play Store and is already sold out

The Nexus 7 Dock finally hit the Google Play Store today, but its appearance was short-lived as the accessory is already sold out, or "temporarily out of stock" as the page says. When the dock was available, it was just $29.99, and it seems that price was too attractive for customers. That, or Google still can't quite figure out this whole supply/demand thing with physical products...

Cheap is what the customers want. That's why the Nexus 4 and 7 were so popular.
Take the Nexus Q for example -- 299! Quite a high price and it failed before it even launched, really. It's limited selection for streaming was one problem, but the other was clearly the price. Why did it cost so much? Because Google had said it was completely made in the U.S.
Many criticize other manufacturers for taking jobs away making it overseas. It sucks, but thats the reason why you guys get to enjoy such low prices.
In any case, US manufacturing has been something of a hot topic, but it looks like people didn't put their money where their mouth was.

I am willing to pay more for products manufactured in the US but even if the Nexus Q cost a third of the price I wouldn't buy it. It was just one of those things that didn't catch my attention or saw myself using.
