I got mine right off the bat. Been refreshing the page every 5 mins since 8am. lol

the 16 gig is 387 with all taxes and shipping.. 2 day shipping.

Hoping that its early enough that it ships out today and arrives tommorow.

So.. I never got an email from Google about its launch.. why did we "sign up for updates" again? lol

That's too much time to spend on one product.

25. remixfa posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:16 3

I was also online till about 230am last night in hopes of a early morning release.

Hey, you wierdos sit in front of iphone stores for days to get one. These things are selling out in minutes. At least I didnt have to leave the comfort of my office.

I NEED a new phone, its not just about want. Had to beat the crowds.

32. MobileCaseReview posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:51

Once I sell my note, most likely going to pick up one. I was thinking about the note 2, but a part of me still wants a note 2. Very tough decision.

47. Mxyzptlk posted on 13 Nov 2012, 18:26

I've never stood in a crowded line for an iPhone. It still beats refreshing your computer all night since at least you'll have people to talk to in a line.

26. bvalde09 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:17 3

Too much time to spend on one product? So when there are people who make a long lineee sometimes camp outside a store thats not to much time?

48. Mxyzptlk posted on 13 Nov 2012, 18:27

We aren't talking about the iPhone.

50. bayusuputra posted on 14 Nov 2012, 03:00

what's so difference with the iPhone.. In fact, this is the device everyone should line up for.. Not some elongated model that finally matched last year's specs..

41. rawkuss posted on 13 Nov 2012, 12:09 1

Wonder if you said the same thing about the people who camped out for a couple days cheering about the Iphone 5.

45. crankyd00d posted on 13 Nov 2012, 12:37 1

Get out of here man. For somebody who trash talks Android so much you sure comment on every single freaking Android news, seriously get a life first and only then say "That's too much time to spend"

49. bayusuputra posted on 14 Nov 2012, 02:58

at least we're spending it with some common sense (it's dirt cheap for unlock device) and in the comfort of our home in front of the computer..

Not spending days under the sun (and rain, and everything else mother nature throws) for overpriced gadget from yesteryear..

And yes, even Mother Nature has tried to warn you with the rain and stuff..

Not able to check out

4. remixfa posted on 13 Nov 2012, 10:49 1

its still showing that they are both in stock for me.. keep trying. the page has been wonky for the last hour or so

6. andreagaru214 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 10:52 1

When you checked out did it go past the "your purchase will complete momentarily" I'm stuck on that page. Already clicked accept and buy though. Do you receive conformation right away?

8. Aeires (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 10:56 1

Same for me, no email notification of purchase.

14. andreagaru214 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:03

I checked to see in my play account if it had successfully went through and it hadn't so I refreshed and it finally went through. I checked my bank statement to make sure.

13. Aeires (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:02

I'm still waiting for confirmation but I called my bank account and a debit for the amount of the phone was issued. Hopefully it was processed before they run out.

24. remixfa posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:15

I got confirmation right away because I clicked the order button at 1132 when I got back from making new coffee. It went in and out in like 10 seconds and had it ordered with confirmation email.

helps that I have my CC on file with google play. just tapped like 2 or 3 buttons and it was ordered.

44. Aeires (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 12:23 1

I refreshed at 11:35, then started the order. Took me numerous tries and at one point I wasn't sure if I had bought two phones, or none. A guy on Android Police suggested checking into your Wallet account to check and it was confirmed for a purchase of 1 phone. Having my cc on file probably helped as well.

I feel for the people who kept trying, I could tell the servers were taking massive traffic hits. I guess if someone as large as Google is having traffic issues, the popularity of this device must be massive. Gotta be a good sign for things to come in the Android camp.

It sold out about 1 min after I got my confirmation XD

17. RAJordao posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:05 2

The confirmation page after clicking continue in the cart needs flash?

Trying to buy from an Ipad...maybe google knows and is blocking me...LOL

19. Juan_Gomez posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:07

You don't need flash, I ordered from a Nexus 7 which has a version of android that doesn't support flash, at least mine doesn't

20. RAJordao posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:09

Damn it...i have the nexus 4 in my cart and after pressing continue it stays in the cart and nothing happens...

21. Juan_Gomez posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:12

29. RAJordao posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:27

Yeah...but before it was sold out it was giving me errors..so close hahahaha

18. toondewachter posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:07

In my country (Belgium) we can't buy the Nexus 4 nor the Nexus 10. Europe is a developing region to google (apart from France and Germany then). LG has decided not to sell the Nexus 4 at all, not even outside the Playstore.

So get lost LG! I'll never buy any of your products! Discriminating s*ns of b*tches!

40. BadAssAbe posted on 13 Nov 2012, 12:08

The Nexus 10 is form Samsung
and
LG did make the Nexus 4 but google is the one selling them.
Just like any products you buy, they may contain LG parts.
This one product called nexus 4 however was a lot of LG Parts.
:-)
Best of luck to everyone
and
remember maybe its a good thing you couldn't get the nexus 4/10 this week because now you have time to look for a good case before you accidentally drop your new nexus the 1st day you get it like my friend.
No worries the phone was fine just dented a little

51. toondewachter posted on 14 Nov 2012, 11:00

Ok, I mixed up with Samsung and LG (my bad ;-) )

But LG is the one pulling the strings on whether or not the Nexus 4 is sold out of the Playstore or not. Why do you think it won't be sold in Taiwan? Why do you think the US price outside the Playstore is $499? That's not determined by Google in any way!

If you're not convinced yet, it was LG who first told us that the device was going to come at the end of this month and it was LG who told that the device won't be sold in the Benelux at all. If this was up to Google, why didn't they make all the announcements?

I am not an idiot and I know that LG produces parts for many other vendors. They make excellent screens for Apple e.g.

Apart from the fact that your post was quite offensive, you just ridiculed my actual point here: I am angry! It's not fair that Google decided to allow sale of the Nexus 4 in just a few countries (through Playstore). And if sales are allowed by LG outside the playstore, the price is set unreasonably high!

Point is that either way the European mainland always has to pay more for the same product (except for France and Germany, which are apparently of more value to international companies).

The only exception is ASUS for now! They had the decency to sell the Nexus 7 for the same price as it can be found in the Playstore. Thank you for that, ASUS, at least one fair company!

If ASUS can, so can LG! But they won't, cause all they want is to make lots of profit! The way I see it, this was their opportunity to make a good name here, and they've just ruined all by themselves! Good job, LG!

52. BadAssAbe posted on 14 Nov 2012, 12:18

What about the nexus 10?
Thats all samsung and Google, you cant blame it all on LG if ever the Nexus 10 wont sell in your country.

If google sells the the Nexus 7 in your country then I believe its only a matter of time before you also get to buy the 4 and 10.

Even the iPhone5's cant keep up with demands, how do you expect a lesser known phone to?

LG just makes the phones like any other product, the playstore is ran by google only, i doubt LG, ASUS, HTC, and Samsung have any input on who gets to buy first besides their own country.

55. toondewachter posted on 15 Nov 2012, 10:26

I am sorry, but what country or planet are you from? I already apologized for the mix-up with Samsung!
Now to get this straight: ASUS is selling the Nexus 7 in the Benelux and Samsung decided not to sell the Nexus 10, LG decided not to sell the Nexus 4. Google decided not to offer the Playstore for devices here.

Clear now?

And for the record: these manufactureres do have a say about pricing outside the playstore and can decide themselves whether or not THEY will sell the devices and at what price.

So stop acting like you know it all, like I would be an idiot! I have the right to be pissed off at LG! Cause they're the ones responsible for the Nexus 4!

22. jaypenkacik posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:13

Started the process as soon as this post went up, and just got a continued circle of error messages on two browsers and countless attempts. Great job Google! Can't buy it in any store, and your website is crap. This might push me to just get a Galaxy III instead. Just walk into a Best Buy, and voila. Phone in hand. What a concept.

27. remixfa posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:17

you can buy it through Tmobile stores tomorrow. It's just more expensive since google isnt subsidizing it.

23. remixfa posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:14 1

the 16 gig sold out in about 10-15 mins and the 8 gig sold out in like 35-40.

That was quick.

Got my 16 gig on order.. so woop woop :)

30. Sakeem posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:35

Keep getting an error on the 32GB Nexus 10. It's in my cart but....ahhahhhhhhhhhh

31. PhoneAddiction posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:41

So many phones out. So many choices. I don't know what to do. :-/ I think I'm just going to wait for next year's rumors lol... Probably not. I'll probably buy this and the Note 2.

33. Lifesogood posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:52

LG /GOOGLE GREAT JOB!

34. joonyboy posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:53

Waaait if you got a confirmation email by google, does that mean you purchased it? It says my credit card has not yet been charged but it will once it's shipped? :O

35. aloner posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:56

Same thing happened in Spain this morning. Thirty minutes of error messages, server unresponsiveness and chaos followed by a generic "available shortly" message when they run out of stock

39. protozeloz posted on 13 Nov 2012, 12:00

There must be heck a lot if traffic as site barely has issues managing daily download

37. protozeloz posted on 13 Nov 2012, 11:59

Ha! It sold out! Should be a bitch slap on Verizon's face (mostly all carriers face) for causing trouble. Their nexus sacrifice is paying up in the end

42. The_Innovation posted on 13 Nov 2012, 12:10 2

Here is why Apple will fall, very very soon.

They are selling the unlocked iPhone 4 for $450. The iPhone 4! Not even the 4S. This phone is more powerful than the iPhone 5, and it's $300.

Apple's marketing strategy will fail now. Enough is enough.

46. mydi.maus (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 17:23

nexus 4 suck

54. spideyman409 posted on 14 Nov 2012, 21:27

I agree. What's the point of having a "great" phone and not have enough of them at launch. I think they jumped the gun with low actual production units. Nexus 4 doesn't suck, but google sucks for announcing the phone, making you wait 2 weeks and not have any units at launch.

Please post if/when you receive your nexus 4. I think there's a conspiracy. Google made a phone with 8 cores, 4 gb of ram, 64 gb HD and lasts 3 days on one charge. It's so much better than >>>>>>iPhone 5 but you'll never know cause there aren't any available.
