New tethering plans courtesy of T-Mobile
Today, T-Mobile announced that they are revamping their tethering options for smartphones with a new plan heading everyone’s way before the holidays.

Any capable smartphone (such as select Android devices) will be eligible for this new Wi-Fi tethering plan. The add-on is cheap compared to the competition, with the feature costing only $15 per month. This of course would be added to an already existing unlimited data plan.

Some of the newer devices, notably the HTC G2, do not have this capability at this time to Wi-Fi tether. Apparently, support for this is on the way. The list of compatible phones will probably become available at the time of this new tethering plan’s launch. Tell us what you think in the comments below.

Asking for more money for tethering is just greedy. Most Asia countries have this as standard and included option from their data plans.

Welcome to america... where businesses strive to squeeze every cent from your wallet. Regardless of the services they provide. Best believe they'll be charging what they can. What a shame, right? Thats why you should just root your phone and tether for free.
