an HD display? only HD? they already call the current ones HD, though thats wrong by definition,
but wouldn't FHD be relatively more relevant if we are referring to the rumored 2048x1536 resolutions? cuz now everybody already calls the current ipads HD resolutions.. in this context could this be suggesting that the new ipad3 isn't sporting a higher resolution display?? won't make sense either as some competitors such as ASUS & Lenovo have announced to be releasing a 1920x1200 tablet soon

the japanese are really losing to the koreans, sharp is one of the biggest maker of lcd screen in japan and they can't compete with samsung and lg. just like honda losing market share to hyundai and kia coz their new civic and crv are just plain ugly.

Funny thing is... Apple is still using Samsung parts even after suing them!
Apple better make iPads affordable 'cuz the other companies are breathing down Apple's neck with better equipped tablets at relatively better prices!!

I don't think its that funny. They both benefit extremely. Think about how much profit Samsung makes by supplying parts to each and every iPhone. Apple is slowly finding new vendors and soon they'll be able to get the same parts for cheaper while Samsung loses a large source of income.

Im glad to see apple come out with a quad core device, i know that the only reason why they did it was to future proof it against the next Android tablets and phones, but its good to see apple actually do it first. But like GeekMovement said, i cant wait to see what the next Galaxy tab is...i honestly hope they come out with a super amoled screen, would be amazing for movies.

Except that they didn't do it first. The Asus Transformer Prime uses the Tegra3 soc which actually has 5 cores(4 cores running at a full 1gHz and a 5th running at 500mHz that is utilized when less processing power is required).
