i can't find any info from the two companies claiming this... this is a rumor then? this would be all over the internet if true not just BGR and phonearena.

"They will not be billed for those calls or texts sent to any Alltel mobile line." There is STILL a charge for texting to Alltell customers if the line does not have a texting plan.

its very true. you will get billed for texting unless you have a plan that includes unlimited vzw to vzw. and calls from vzw to alltell are free, but not vice versa for now.

tell you the truth...i dont know ANYONE thats on Alltell! the ones benefiting from the merge are those with Alltell.
