A new report has come out which sounds suspiciously like an Apple marketing release, can you guess where the report came from? If you said the Wall Street Journal, then you already know how the game is played. The newest "leaked" info claims that the new iPhone will have some global LTE support...

maybe or maybe Apple just playing it safe and they might don't have LTE on the next iphone. Recall the mess they are get themself into in Australia..... HSPA+ and she claim LTE. Apple might pull it off the same way here in America, because No one care so take her to court. However, Oversea is total diffirent story.

@cncrim: exactly what I had in mind. They say global LTE support but also say "it isn’t likely to work with all carriers’ LTE networks in all countries". In America they have become almost invincible.

Anyone here on a cell blog participate in that "survey" that concluded that most users don't mind having slow 3g data speeds? Anyone believe the "results"?
As att & vzw are different technology, and we have seen no "evidence" of multiple versions, anyone actually believe it will be compatible on both networks?
Hey...but there is a new plug!!!

This is awesome news as, a New iPhone with LTE (Limited To Edge) connectivity is, well, back to the Original iPhone; guess Everything Apple does come full circle.

lol, on Sprint's or Verizon's network the iphone 4S is almost like being on EDGE.

Wow, an apple device with LTE AND a 4 inch screen? Who says they're playing catch up to Android?

I love android and consider myself to be a huge fanbody, but the disses towards apple is getting old... Who cares what it has in it bro, as long as consumers are satisfied with their phone then that's all that matters. Jelly bean is so darn fluid.. Looks like it's playing catch up with ios.

I agree with what you're saying, however this IS a discussion forum. My point was apple has hit a wall and it is showing. Perhaps if they invested more time and money into R&D instead of buying up ridiculous patents on things they didnt even invent and suing the sh*t out of everyone they wouldn't be in that predicament. But it's apple, they could go back to 2G, 118ppi screen, single core processor, 2mp camera and people would STILL line up around the block for it. You cannot deny that.

Yes I agree with you and won't deny it. But why would it matter if people lined up for it or not? Let them be the fools who buy into apple. Eventually these people will wake up

that's how dumb you are if you think that would really happen.

"They could go back to 2G, 118ppi screen, single core processor, 2mp camera and people would STILL line up around the block for it."
- why would anyone give up their iPhone 4/4S for a phone thats slower, has less resolution, and old camera sensor.
"You cannot deny that"
- I'm denying that. Common sense denies it too.

i like the first part but last part not really, but i gave you thumbs up...
its really annoying and stupid about these comparison between iOS and android.. it looks like these people wanted to hate apple/android are little kids.. i wish they could act like adults and professional!!
android is android.. iOS is iOS... before, the android does look like iOS, but now with ICS and JB, its not... but android does look like symbian..with all the homescreen and menus... since the engineer of symbian foundation (that collapse because nokia is so damn stupid to update symbian that time) works for google's android division now so it really looks like symbian.. but better looking.. but symbian belle has components that is better too!!
iOS will be recognize as iOS and android will be recognize as android.. but the real android is the best not the skinned one..touchwiz, sense etc just make android look bad..but the nexuses/nexi is really different...

I totally agree with u man. Let the disses b done already, it's gotten so tired and hasn't turned one person away from apple that wasn't leaving anyway. There's something for everyone folks remember that.

This is weird. Just have it on Verizon and ATT at least. Sprint and Tmobile can wait. Make it happen otherwise people will jumpship to windows 8 or Android in a heartbeat.

Sony already did it with the Xperia V...and guess what, Apple will get all the credit
