Yup, everyone knows that you're a playa as you strut through the streets of the metropolis listening to Machine Gun Kelly through those red vines-esque Beats Audio earbuds that came with your HTC Rezound; will this ad get many buyers to chose the Rezound over the Motorola DROID RAZR?...

First phone with Beats Audio? That's only considering Verizon right? because the Sensation XE has been on the market for a long time

beats audio who cares...i can get it on my evo 3d. beats audio can't manipulate the sound chip on htc phones however. apple and samsung beats it by a mile

Dont you realize the Rezound is an HTC phone..if there audio chip were better than Beats then why would they incorporate Beats Audio on some of there highend devices.

Good month of Nov for VW...RAZR..Rezound and Nexus....Im at a total lost as to which one to choose. All offer unique features that set them apart..RAZR...thin...REZOUND...Beats Audio and 1.5 dual core...Nexus...ICS and pure Google...all offer basically same specs with ram storage display size LTE and screens so i will wait until all three are out before I choose my next Android...

the nexus has the same exact processor found on the razr, dual core 1.2gHz

The razr has a TI Omap 4430 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. the nexus has a TI Omap 4460 at 1.2 GHz, its a newer version that was optimized for ICS

the only difference between the two is the 4460 has a slightly higher clocked GPU. the difference won't be noticeable anywhere but maybe in benchmarks. ICS is optimized just fine for the 4430.

in terms of power there's a big difference between the Rezound and the other two and it'll have the worst battery life. in terms of power it goes Rezound < Razr < Nexus.

The screen and beats are the reason to get the rezoned not the processor of course.

The Nexus is the winner in my book because none of them appear to be having a good battery life so removable battery is a must so the razr is out. Also the rezound even with a removable battery is still going to be terrible so thats out. So Nexus wins in my book.

No battery or no removeable / additional memory - choose the lesser of two annoyances.

yeah, those are nice features but they shouldn't overshadow the phone's actual performance because that's what matters in the long term.

sure, the Nexus will suit you fine then. you're not really missing out on much if you get it.

The pixel density on the Rezound is supposed to be impressive, but I have yet to like a screen on a HTC phone, the colors are always so dim and dull! I'd get the Nexus, just wished it had external memory, also gorilla glass.

lol the 1.5 ghz processor in the rezound is nothing worth mentioning. its a qualcomm, qualcomms such so much compared to xynos and nvidia processors. It scored a 2300 in quadrant benchmark, and galaxy s2 (dual core 1.2 ghz exynos. )scored 3, 600-800 . ghz doesnt mean everything lol.

Beats audio is better than the stock audio DAC included in a lot of phones but it still sucks. The Samsung Galaxy S with the Wolfson audio DAC still blows it away, software will never beat good hardware.

exactly. i am always highly amused with fools that are entranced by something simply because Monster cable licensed Dr Dre\\\'s name. people are so blinded by marketing. if this had a McIntosh amp/dac built into the phone, then i would be impressed.

let\'s be serious, monster (beats) is notorious for overpriced, poor quality equipment.

Which Galaxy S series--be specific--The Galaxy S Fascinate was a joke in the sound department--couldn't even hear videos on youtube. As far as I'm concerned--no phone to date has beat the output and sound quality of the OG Droid...to include--Beats-Wolfson-Bose-Harman Kardon..I'm really not going to be buying a $300.00 phone with 2 year contract based on sound----come on...

I had a chance to play with it at bestbuy and Verizon today and it's the best out of box experience I've had with Android so far. All the previews are making this phone out as a huge device and it's not true especially if your used to a Droid X for the past year. It feels very "natural" and has the right amount of weight. The screen is the best display I've ever used; you can't see any pixels. When using the camera to take pictures it's very quick (turn off the 3 sec review) and the detail on the screen sets a new bar. The processor handles bloated sense 3.5 very well. There's "almost" no need to run custom Rom's but I like to push my phones really hard.
And then there's the Razr. I'm actually against it because after using a Droid X for a year I'm tired of Motorola tricks. Plus the phone feels unnatural because it's much wider and the display does not do it for me. The camera is also a notch below the Rezound. The entire experience feels slapped together.
Only the Nexus can really equal or beat the Rezound hardware wise. Software belongs to the Nexus for the time being.

Htc spent 3$milllion or 30$ for this beats audio. It must be something good to spend that kind of money. Rezound sounds good. To bad its Android. G-nexus, over rated product just like iphobe.
