It looks like Sony is releasing new Xperia X Concept builds on a weekly basis.
One week ago, the Japanese company delivered a new Glove mode, and a newer version of the camera app to those running Concept builds.
Today, a new release is available for Xperia X users who like to mingle with the phone's software. The latest build brings X-Reality for videos, a feature that's been available on
Xperia smartphones, but was missing from the Concept firmware.
Sony also announced that the latest update should re-enable
VoLTE support, which was removed in previous builds due to some issues. If you plan on using VoLTE, keep in mind that it's only enabled in Germany, Spain, and the UK.
Furthermore, the newest March security patch is part of the updates as well, along with improvements to the adaptive brightness. The release contains a fix too, which addresses a bug when restarting the phone in Low Battery Mode.
These are all the new features and improvements in this build, but we're pretty sure a new release will be available next week. It remains to be seen what other goodies Sony will bring to
Xperia X users running this Concept firmware.
