The LG G2 almost cut that already with Quickcharge 2. Not wireless though - qualcomm.com/chipsets/quick-charge. And goes about 2 days of moderate use

"Just how fast is Qualcomm Quick Charge? See how Quick Charge 1.0 and 2.0 compare against conventional USB charging using a 3300mAh battery.

Conventional Charge

Quick Charge 1.0

Quick Charge 2.0

25% Charge 60 minutes 18 minutes 12 minutes
50% Charge 120 minutes 48 minutes 24 minutes
75% Charge 192 minutes 78 minutes 42 minutes
100% Charge 270 minutes 144 minutes 96 minutes"

Why not having both simultaneously?
Isn't it great to make every aspects of phones better at the same time?

You can't have that because the second they make the battery bigger, they add more specs to win that spec race while negating the battery advantage. If you could have the Note 3's batter in an S3 it would be amazing, but then we'd probably demand faster phones.

Does it mean I can expect the Sony Xperia Z2 to be a even bigger beast than the Z1? :D

Too bad sony doesn't release CDMA phones in america. They really do seem to have some nice tech.

GSM has always been the best. CDMA just not that convenient, cuz I can't pop a sim outta that phone and use it elsewhere. So Sony isn't on the CDMA train.
