Brilliant ad, considering the amount of crap Tim Cook and the rest of the Apple crew talk about Android and Android OEMs at WWDC, it's nice to see Samsung publicly hit them back :) guess they are the only ones who can afford to.

They have been doing this for years, this is nothing new from samsung. Funny thing is, if samsung does it, it is amazing. If another person does it, it is trolling.
Know how many S5's i exchange weekly for power issues? The ratio of galaxy to iphone exchanges is horrid. It has made me respect apple products even though i can't stand them.

Just saying, if your exchanging phones because of 'power issues' then your not doing your job
Walk out Working man, educate your customers on devices, unless your just a clerk, but I seriously doubt that if your handling product like that.
Thats 101 of any phone sales, your taught that day one. >_> Obvious fake is obvious.

People Sammy phones have decent battery life especially with its power hungry amoled display I get around 12 and 1/2 hours of battery with 5 and 1/2 hours of screen time which is way more then a good normal day of use for me.....and that's just with the stock battery on my Galaxy s3

If you want to survive for the next 10 minutes in this discussion, never use word "amoled" and "power hungry" in the same sentence !

But its true even though its has a near infinite contrast ratio it still damands a lot more power then lcd

Only with heavy use of whites and blues. A black theme will use significantly less power than an LCD.

Apple could make the same ad comparing the iPads battery with the samsung tablets
41. Iodine (Posts: 936; Member since: 19 Jun 2014)
The problem is that samung will counter that with the "brick wearers" AD as the iPad is 0,9 mm thicker and 4/37 g heavier.

They shouldn't have mentioned the iPhone 6. That's just going to remind iPhone users to wait for the new iPhone instead of getting the GS5...

My Note 2 even with stock battery lasted me all day (8 AM to Midnight) on a single charge with plenty to spare, that includes streaming music and watching a ton of YouTube videos.
However, the other great thing is the removable battery. When my 1 1/2 year old stock battery started losing charge, I replaced it with a ZeroLemon 9300mAh battery, which is 3 times the capacity of the stock battery, and I now can get through 2 1/2 to 3 days on a single charge! I took it to EDC Las Vegas 2014 2 weeks ago (The Electric Daisy Carnival if you didn't know what EDC meant) and with 134,000 people per day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from 7 PM to 5:30 AM, most people on iPhones (and most any other phone to be fair but a ton of iPhones) were looking for chargers by 2 or 3 AM in the morning, since mobile reception was shot to hell with that many people in a relatively small area. At the end of the night, I still had more than 60% charge, and I didn't even have to turn off data or switch to Airplane mode! That was the reason I bought the battery, without having to go through low battery anxiety while at EDC!

If you think this AD is not true..,just walk into Airport and you will see plenty of wall-huggers
90. xeonfire (Posts: 87; Member since: 15 Feb 2014)
Its so true! I'm a wall hugger myself, not just in airport, but anywhere I can steal a charge. Battery life is definitely one of the biggest issue for smartphone user these day, doesn't matter which platform got the best this or that, without juice, you can just throw away your phone in the mean time.
Efficient OS, good battery management software, big battery, removable one is the best and most essential!
