Seriously, a great feature, I definitely was on top of all the news of the phone I wanted until I got it, this would've definitely helped at the time. Keep it up PhoneArena!

PhoneArena is developing like no other. With such amount of news, clever articles, perfect video reviews and new features you are definitely the best site dedicated to mobile industry.

At last! Awesome implementation guys. Just make sure that the site remembers the individual preferences when clicking the Follow button (i.e. no e-mail notifications, etc).

Need a mobile version of PhoneArena

no.

why? if you have a decent phone, full versions of websites work flawlessly.

it actually annoys me quite a bit to have mobile sites come up. it also annoys me that so many sites make apps with the exact same functionality as their site.

its unneeded. focus on making your site better (which is what PA is doing. kudos)

I have to agree. My phone works perfectly with PhoneArena.com. The site is perfect just the way it is. Only feature phones need mobile versions of web-sites.

The only thing that annoys me is the pop up ads sometimes... on a phone it can be hard to hit the little tiny x in the upper right hand corner.

Maybe i'm just an idiot... I haven't had that problem recently.

... and why would a feature phone user bother to have mobile internet? If you want mobile internet these days, there are free smartphones (which, on most carriers, require a data plan anyway) available on-contract. There are cheap smartphones on prepaid plans, as well. They all handle full-html-websites these days. I see no reason for anyone to bother getting a data plan for their wap-based or xhtml-based feature phones. I don't have a data plan for my cheap crap phone I'm using right now (so old, cheap, and crappy that I don't even admit to its existence on my phone list here... maybe someday I'll get up the courage to admit to the garbage handset I'm using, but today is not that day).

Are you serious?
I have a decent phone (Motorola Atrix 4G) and trying to read PhoneArena's webpage is a absolute pain in the butt. The standard PA home page is way too cluttered for a 4-inch screen on most smartphones. Sure, I can pinch to zoom in, but inevitably those annoying popup ads PA has show up, and you can't close them without zooming back out because the ads auto-center in the browser window.
There are way too many links, drop-down menus, ads, etc strewn about on the regular PA page to be workable on a small mobile phone/smartphone screen.
Doesn't anyone else see the irony in the leading website dedicated to mobile phones not have a mobile version of their site?

If I can navigate it flawlessly on a 3.5 inch iPod touch screen, I think it's ok on a 4 in screen. All I know is I always hate having to scroll to the bottom of engadgets mobile site to get to the main site, as the mobile site is crappy (as most mobile sites are). I am grateful I don't have to do so on this site

I think we need a couple of more tings

this site is great for instant news but when it comes down to finding old articles its a huge challenge among other things Here are some things that I would Like if the phone arena team could implement those

-More Tags
I think your site uses a really reduced number of tags and that is not always good its not that the site must be filled with every tag we could imagine but tags like #Rumors, #Patent #Security #Concept are tags that could be added to make searching for an article even more comfortable

-More ways to search with tags
its nice that you can see all the news about one topic thanks to tags but an idea could also be mixing tags where you say #Morotola and #LG and #WindowsMobile or #Apple #accessory and information is pulled from articles that have those tags in common so finding certain articles is more easy

-More careful details about what type of articles we a reading, There are News and facts that do not need to be labeled there are Whiter opinions that should be labeled as Opinions, There Are Rumors What Should be labeled as rumors, when phone arena does its own research it should also be labeled and so on, I've seen people from the site taking a rumor as a straight fact or a writer opinion as a fact when they are not necessarily true.

-Recommendation of the (day/week) there is a cool new app you think we should try? a phone deal to avoid or swap? I know some time you do those but I wish it was more common.

Oh and IP ban screen name thiefs. When someone tires to poke fun at someome its not fun its stupid and hard to see the diferences betwen the real poster and the idiot making fun of him

Eg Sigs and sigs

Hmm. Yes, I can see how that is not as much fun for you. I just think it's cute when someone goes to that trouble to pick on me.

But Phonearena did ban the dude/tte who made the fake account of me. :)
