New OS update for the AT&T BlackBerry users
AT&T subscribers, using the BlackBerry Pearl (8110 and 8120), Curve (8320) or 8820, will now have the opportunity to update to the newer OS version 4.5. The improvements add some of the features that are currently present only in the newer Bold and Storm, for no extra cash. In case you are interested enough to see what’s new, please visit the official download page right here.

fanboyssuck: i did it and its sweet! the browser give you a cursor and you move it with the trackball! everything runs more smoothly. video recorder! thats all that i've notice so far if you do it though make sure you can have time away from your blackberry... it took me about 45 minutes to do the entire update

dude, there was a setting for a cursor and it could record video as long as you have a memory card before this update.

AT&T has to release updates to their phones? Wow, AT&T must be terrible! You mean the Phone doesnt have every theoritical function possible at launch? These phones must be terrible! *What I hear everyone saying about the storm.*

Updated my pearl 8110. All I noticed so far is: *The application that shows the music/video/voicenotes/etc is a straight line, cleaner looking in my opinion *The media player looks a bit different. Has the pause and stop buttons between the previous/next buttons that were never there! *On the pictures app, theres no fill screen :/ *If you load music on the phone, it has this scanning bar at the bottom until all the media loads *Camera looks... different *Video recording is also different looking *Camera has Geotagging *Lots of shop applications added to the Home screen *Message application... The name/number's on top *They've added instant messaging (but it just leads to BB messenger so not so exciting)
