While the U.S. is getting the refreshed Google Nexus 7 late this month (July 30th to be exact), those in the U.K. may not be quite as lucky; according to Currys and PC World, two retailers that are part of the Dixons group, the 16GB and 32GB variants of the Google Nexus 7 II won't be arriving in the region until September 13th, about a month and a half after U.S. consumers will have started watching Netflix in 1080p on their Nexus 7 slates...

You've explained that its not coming to UK til September but you haven't explained why? And also if i was gonna buy a Nexus 7, Currys & PC world would be the last i'd go. Get it straight from Google Playstore

Let's hope Google Play Store will offer the device on schedule next week. It's pointless to sell the current stock of old 7s with everybody just sitting out until the new one arrives, Google need to suck it up with the unsold N7s and launch the N7II while the excitement level is up, or they'll hurt their own sales. September is absolutely unacceptable.

More upset that once again $ get converted straight to £,so we Brits get to pay the same 239 for a device as the yanks, yet £239 is a lot more than $239 sickening.

I'm in Taiwan. Ironically an Asus-made product isn't available in its manufacturer's homeland!!
