Considering the "leaked roadmap" for sprint, the rhodium sports both cdma and gsm radios, as well as supporting rev a and hsdpa. This would be my guess, as in falls in line with htc making one handset, and both cdma carriers picking it up.

Bear in mind, 4G is scheduled to launch later this year, will be GSM based, and voice calls will be handled via VoIP through GSM handsets....

Its testing in 2009 but not scheduled for launch until 2010. Plus calling it GSM based is a little misleading. Anyways this has nothing to do with it.

they are going to start putting up towers sometime in Q3 09 if everything goes according to plan. there is no offical word on when any phones will come out to take advantage of it, since it will be only in a few cities at first, just like everything else. it is NOT GSM based.

Its supposed to start testing in 09. The "cities" that everyone keeps saying its "launching" for in '09 are just test areas. Go to NJ, drive down to Basking Ridge and tell me what company you run into. They're just going to be testing it on site, not launching it in the city.

Accroding to the model name, XV6175 (Please Verizon, don't use this!), I would guess it to be either the Twin or Cedar. I can't see the Whitestone with a lower model number than the HTC Touch and Touch Pro. The Cedar is a rather basic WM phone (non touchscreen even, I think), and I doubt Verizon would pick that up with both CDMA/GSM support. My pick is the Twin, which at this point I expect to be released in the Summer, probably before the Whitestone.
