Just like the G2. Koreans get the SD slot and the removable battery, TWO of them included! Although we get a long lasting battery, it's a non-removable one and NO expandable storage. No problem for me but I've definitely heard it was a deducted point.

Looks just like a big as htc one..........meh....

Actually this thing being a big *** One is the reason why this is so compelling. If you didn't love the regular HTC One the Max won't do anything for you. I have a HTC One which I REALLY love the front facing speakers on, they are awesome for playing games like Blitz Brigade or watching videos. The other feature that I really enjoy is the HTC Zoe ability. I love the video collages it creates.
Conversely I had a Note 2 just a month ago and I loved the extra functionality a larger screen gives you. Webpage viewing is so much easier and videos are much more enjoyable. I liked huge screens so much I sold that Note 2 and bought an Asus Fonepad. I did find the Note 2's S Pen to be very nice because it allows you to pin point select things without having to zoom in to improve the touch points of webpage navigation.
Combining a large screen with HTCs Boomsound front facing speakers is a no brainer. I'm sold. I want it. The only thing I hate about the One is the damage prone aluminum of the body. I like plastic. Give me high quality plastic...

5. jeanrivera (Posts: 6; Member since: 10 Jul 2012)
on the 2nd screenshot it looks like unfortunately it does have 1.7 cpu and not the rumored 2.3 SnapDragon 800
33. Commentator (Posts: 3704; Member since: 16 Aug 2011)
I'm hoping for HTC's sake the 1.7 cpu will be the Chinese variant and the one coming to the U.S. (pun not even noticed until several seconds later) will be an S800. Otherwise there's no way this is my next device. I could see them doing this for cost-reasons.

For those of you complaining it's just a bigger version of the htc one then what does that make the s4 and z1 different from their bigger siblings? I hate your arguments about the s pen functionality, in all the times you've spending outside of your house, how many galaxy note users have you seen using their stylus? My mom had a note2 and she barely took the spen off her phone except only when the time she is bored fondling over it. I also have not usually have seen you reason out how the spen helps you with your everyday life. I am not saying the spen is completely useless, but it's not something that an average consumer will be after when purchasing a phone.

Your mom doesnt use #### others dont
Do not force others to think like you, ok?
10. tiara6918 (Posts: 2042; Member since: 26 Apr 2012)
You probably didn't understand my argument. It's not my mom I'm talking about here but the number of people who are actually using their spen on their galaxy note. I also have friends who have a galaxy note and I have never seen them use their stylus even when I asked them if they were using it, they said no. Go look around you and the people you know, look and ask them whether they're using their spen. UNDERSTAND AND LEARN THE FACTS FIRST BEFORE YOU GO AHEAD AND COMMENT

I had and owned both htc and samsung phones so please let's not start a fanwar based from your argument
13. Remmy (Posts: 128; Member since: 31 Jul 2012)
I have a friend who has a Note 2 and I rarely see her use the stylus, but that doesn't mean it applies to all Note users as well. Have you met all Note owners?
15. tiara6918 (Posts: 2042; Member since: 26 Apr 2012)
+1 Remmy. I'm not saying 100% of the note users do not use the s-pen and don't use their functionality. What I'm just trying to point out is that the s-pen is not what people are buying the note series for. I for one, had used a note 2(and even the old omnia2)and want a note 3 but what makes me want to get it is the huge and portable display and I guess note users have had that as their reason for purchasing it not because they want to take out the spen and use it. Ok,that was just my own opinion

As stated above, your "opinion" is not fact, because I use mine daily. Thank you.
34. timepilot84 (Posts: 113; Member since: 16 Aug 2012)
And I use mine never. The only thing the S-Pen has done for me is make it so no one makes waterproof cases for my Note 3. Fart.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is a much better way of doing things, allowing you to use a pencil as a stylus when you need it.

I have a Note II and I rarely use the S-Pen, but what I do use it on matters. While you may not see me in the wild flaunting the pen, I am often taking photos of products, and scratching notes on them -- I even draw little pointing arrows, and circles! Amazingly, I doubt anyone has ever seen me do it, yet tens of thousands of e-cig users are reaping the benefits of it.
There are 4 other Note II users at my day job. I've never seen them use the S-Pen either, but half wouldn't purchase a phone without one; one of them even claims to be an artist, yet I'm not discounting it since I've never seen his work.

R u a vapor?? Which forum??ecf,v2???

I'm in China right now and here, many NOTE II owners use their S-Pen to write on their phones. In restaurants, buses, subways and even while walking. And I think it's the same in the other eastern asian countries.
16. Jason2k13 (Posts: 1214; Member since: 28 Mar 2013)
i rarely use the S-Pen to, but its useful when i want too doodle around and draw pictures, or diagrams for university.
The S-Pen is actually the main reason why people bought the note series, most costumers are happy to see that a pen can be used. Sure they might not use it as much, but the fact that an S-Pen is included makes people want it more.
Also, people dont just use the pen for drawing, people also use it as alternative to using their fingers, because its more accurate, im mostly talking about the older generations.
So please, just because you or your family and friends doesnt use it, doesnt mean nobody else does... people would prefer a pen included than not.

No thanks if it runs S4 Pro and still has that 4mp camera.
17. Epicness1o1 (Posts: 272; Member since: 30 May 2013)
Oh htc don't blow this thing up,because everybody is then going to buy sgn 3 and then ur back on the bottom...
18. piyath (Posts: 440; Member since: 23 Mar 2012)
Shame on you htc... Try to do something new... And the NOTE series meant to bring lot of functionality to people other than big display. htc is trying to fire without an aim.
19. jamesish (Posts: 13; Member since: 15 Sep 2013)
The Max will not have a stylus so I'm not regretting my decision to go with Note 3. If it did I would of traded this device in within 1 hour of receiving it in the mail.

These leaks are definitely by Htc and on purpose. The GN3 is coming out soon and they don't want ppl to forget about them
