I am a big Blackberry fan, although I can't see RIM releasing 16 different devices. More likely 4 devices on 4 carriers.

We don't want trackpads!!!!!!! These are not Zunes. The ball makes a BlackBerry a Blackberry!

Before the trackball Blackberry's had a wheel on the side. Everybody said the same thing when RIM came out with the trackball. The navigation will be very similar with fewer failures. The trackball is a HIGH failure item and this will make their phone more reliable. I wouldn't knock it until you try it for a few weeks. I bet you'll hate the track ball once you try the trackpad for a few weeks.

I'm hoping they release a 3G model for T-Mobile next year/in the near future. The 8530 will be good with Sprint too, they badly need more BB options.

T-Mobile should get 3g before releaseing a 3g phone....Just a thought...Hey I know they could rent VZW network that they've had for years since its been 3g forever, and then when LTE comes out they can just have it, Someones trash is someone elses treasure... Mine as well considering they arent getting AHEAD of the competition any time soon.

Except Verizon is CDMA and TMO is GSM. SOOOOOOO fail @ "network rent". You should know that if you have even heard of LTE. And if you were referring to Sprint renting Verizon's network, they already do in some areas. And you should have made that clear; it looks like you're suggesting TMO to rent VZWs network.
