Looks awesome.

My first thought when I started the video was, "is this real?" Thanks, Conan.

its definitely updated and i'm running GB on a Droid X. hmm, its a little slow with icon loading and definitely not as pretty as the PS3 interface. What I want is for Netflix to add the ability to change my damn DVD cue from the bloody app. Why must I go to a browser when the app should be able to do that with little to no problem?

This might be a server side update because my phone says Sept 6th 2012 last update, yet I am running the new UI, which isn't all the pretty. Looks just like what's in the article. The new UI starts off by showing you the new features, like how it happens when you have a new Android phone. Might be some sort of activation by carrier thing, I'm on VZW NYC so I have no idea why other people don't have it yet. In the what's new section it says WiFi only playback and Playback stability improvements.

This new UI might not be all that good for phones running less that 1GB of RAM, On my Droid X it's slow to load icons and cycling through shows is slow as well. I'll see what happens when it loads more in cache, initial impression it's blah looking and blah performance. The PS3 app is by far the best Netflix app version, it's smooth as butter and preloads the next closest video/show in the line up when credits start to roll, class app. Everyone else gets this garbage.

This new updated app is awful.Sept 29,2012
I am on wifi and watch netflix every night using my android phone. I am having issue after issue with the new app that I have never had before using the older version of this app. Here's my list of problems this new upgrade has created:
1-Title images load extremely slow-so slow I once fell asleep before they could load.
2-Scrolling to the right, extremely slow and sometimes unresponsive, if the title images show up at all.
3-No "recently watched" feature. So if you watched something yesterday and didn't put it in your que, good luck finding it again if you can't remember the EXACT title.
4-Search bar slow to load.
5-Search feature freezes, finally when curser shows up, keyboard will still not load.
6-No help feature anywhere!
7-Must enter Netflix through an internet window to do pretty much anything else.
8-Clicking to continue viewing most of the time unresponsive.
I didn't ask for the upgrade, it was automatic when my phone rebooted, I would have loved this app, if it actually worked. I have reloaded the app, taken the battery out of my phone etc, still same issue and a big waste of time...mine!
