Netflix freezing up on Android 4.3, fix coming soon

The latest version of Netflix for Android that runs on Android 4.3 has run into some problems; let's say you're watching something on Netflix and after a while, because of the lack of the press of an input button, the device goes to sleep. The problem is that pressing the power button once, which usually wakes up the device, won't work...

HBO GO seems to freeze at the initial buffering of the shows also (on my N7 running 4.3)

not to the point of needing to restart the device just will not load any video, will try netflix.

Nothing to worry about. A majority of android users don't have 4.3 anyway

FYI the reason why 4.3 is affected is because this new version of android supports new apis for media DRM. The benefit of this though, is Netflix will stream 1080p content to the new Nexus 7.

That's why they want this to work well. Both Google and Netflix worked on it before it was released.
