Netflix app brings watch instantly movies to the iPhone over 3G
After one long wait, the time has finally arrived as iPhone owners all around can celebrate simultaneously about the arrival of the long awaited Netflix app. Sensing that there will be plenty of adulation from users who are thrilled about this new prospect, the timing couldn't have been any sweeter since iPad users have been taking advantage of watching Netflix's instant streaming movies. Some were wondering whether or not the functionality would be limited to Wi-Fi connectivity, but thankfully, it's in full effect with 3G – and Wi-Fi of course. So wherever you're at, you can always whip out your iPhone and catch up on some movies – never missing a beat as it will resume from wherever you paused. Of course the app is available for free through the App Store, but you'll need to subscribe to Netflix's service in order to stream movies on your iPhone. So if you haven't downloaded it yet, you'd better hurry so you can experience the full force of the Netflix app.

The vast majority of iPhone users still have the unlimited plan... And the apps is freakin amazing. Picture quality is quite nice. I'm glad this finally got to the phone itself.

Excellent upload speeds??????? Yea ok. Not to mention who cares if you have unlimited data with them, you have UNLIMITED Edge data and LIMITED 3G data.....So brag away.

14. networkdood posted on 26 Aug 2010, 18:54

no, I have unlimited all data, you cannot have unlimited EDGE and limited 3G/UMTS on a plan - WTF??

its funny how excited people get over force close errors. enjoy!

15. networkdood posted on 26 Aug 2010, 18:54

Yeah, I have seen that a few times on some market apps - but not many - usually clearing the cache on that particular app does the trick...

I'd rather the phone tell me something is wrong rather than slow to the speed of a glacier. I feel for you 3G and 3GS users with the lag.

i know right haha. android fanboys love force closing, lags issues, crashes ...wait....sounds like the next winmo haha
