Navigon MobileNavigator app is updated for iOS 4 & includes tons of new features
Just as expected, Navigon's MobileNavigator app for the iPhone has been recently updated to take all of the advantages of iOS 4 – plus even more for newly minted iPhone 4 owners. Now if you happen to get back to the home screen, you'll be glad to know that the app will still continue include background navigation so you'll always be informed of where to go. In addition, some of the new features seen with the latest version of the app include Live Weather that provides weather information wherever you travel, parking information, updates to the NAVTEQ maps, and enhancements made especially for the iPhone 4's Retina Display. Previously there was an issue of displaying 3D Panorama view on the Retina Display, but thankfully this update addresses it and renders accordingly now. But one of the greatest things to be seen with it is that pricing for the app has been reduced – for the next 12 days, the US and Canada version is now $49.99. Plus the US MyRegion versions are also seeing a reduction from $29.99 regularly to $17.99 now.
