NVIDIA's Tegra Note 7 receives OTA update to enable Netflix HD streaming
What brings this tablet to mind is an update that it has just received. A tweet sent out by NVIDIA reveals that thanks to the OTA update, the Note 7 now supports Netflix HD. That means that Tegra 7 owners can view streaming video from Netflix in 1080p for sharper, clearer images.
While the update is coming to the tablet OTA, you impatient types can try to coax it out of the slate by going to Settings > About Tablet > System updates > Download OTA.

The point is they want to show case their awesome processor on a crappy screen

Resolution idiots like you are the reason that 10 in tablets have crap framerates on them, anything beyond 1080 on a 10 in screen is WASTED and pointless. I can tell youfrom experience you will lose a lot more in a game from crappy frame rates than from poor resolution. the only reason to have a resolution that high is for photography work. But seeing as you cannot really calibrate the screen, and that there are not any real photo editing apps for tablets. All that resolution just goes to waste, wasting battery life, wasting video card processing power. I would rather have better battery life and a smoother experience.
The Note7 is built for GAMING, and framerates are more important than your pointless need for worthless high resolution screen

within this price range you won't find device with super duper resolution unless it was subsidized like nexus 7 and Kindle fire HDX. also TN 7 was geared towards gaming performance.
