Sound good to me take a google route and sell in the play store unlocked at a reasonable price. Ha stick it to verizon again with gsm only. That'll keep pushing them in the update in a timely manner dirrection. Manufactures should also start putting a limit on how many bloatware apps can be installed on phones. i mean come on if I wanted those carrier services I would ask for them or download the app myself.

Google has invested a lot on its Play Store, and the new model you mentioned is still in early stage of development. Google has recently bought a lock box service so it's very exciting to see how it evolves.

SS does not have any nearly comparable sales channel.

They will have hard times deciding the phone's price. Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy premier, Galaxy S3 and many other samsung phones are at a high end price tag.

SS has 1 last gen flagship model now: Note 2, but this is a phablet.

SG3 is 6 months old and has to compete with One X+, DNA, Optimus G, Nexus 4, iPhone 5 all of which have better hardware.

Time for SS to bring on GS3 Alpha with A-15 quad core and 720p non pentile screen.

we need to remember that all though there seems to be so many of similar phones they are not always available everywhere...for example the premier is only for some markets where as its not available here in the uk.
