Mysterious HP tablet is mysterious, appears online again

0. phoneArena posted on 06 Aug 2012, 02:17

In case you need even more evidence suggesting that new HP tablets are incoming, look no further than the company's own web site, where a photo of a mysterious slate has been spotted. The device pictured appears identical to the one that was seen in an HP commercial last week – with a silvery, grayish back and a black strip on top, behind which supposedly reside antennas for 3G/4G communication...

judging from the initial reviews and beta version of windows 8 that i have used. windows 8 isn't gonna win any awards! but surely it can rack up some sales in the already crowded tablet scene. and 'm sure this will go way further than touchpad did!!

Agreed, I'd rather see a Windows 7 tablet instead of the metro style W8.

So, you're telling me you own a slate? If you don't then I don't think you really care if windows slate/tablet was running Windows 7 or W8 because MS OEM's have been selling slates running Windows 7 for your pleasure.

I saw 2 of these on a flight that I was on from Atlanta to Seattle. One of the guys using it worked for Microsoft. Let me tell you, this thing was slick ! ! ! I watched him use just about everything on it from the Metro homescreen, email, web browser, instant messenger, app store, and Angry Birds. There was zero lag and everything transitioned very gracefully. The color schemes were quite...................just astounding :)

I must say that watching it in use makes me want to nab one up as soon as they drop.
