Mozilla releases video showing off the new Firefox OS

A video showing off the new Firefox OS has been released by Mozilla at MWC and also announced some partners who will be building phones powered by the new OS like ZTE, Alcatel, LG, Huawei; while the United States is penciled in to receive Firefox OS devices sometime in 2014, this year it will be all about Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Venezuela where the OS will initially be found this year...

only the looks but this one concentrates on HTML5... all apps and software build is HTML5

and IOS is the extension of symbian and all other smartphone OS'es before IOS apple copied and improved to call it their invention!

Not really. I'm sure humans can come up with something creative that doesn't have to resemble Android or Apple but it will take time. I am hoping firefox OS to improve and differentiate....to be even better than what's out there (Android)

its nice to see that firefox keeps it simple... but widgets are really useful!

the very reason why nokia shouldn't let got of symbian coz only android and symbian has this widgets customization that i know..

and also they should let it run on any other SoC out there! it seem like qualcomm chips will be a bit pricey and fancy....there's a ton of SoC out there!! action semiconductors mediatek, rocketchip and other to keep it low-end friendly!
