good point jp... they tend to release a nextel version AND a boost version, usually with a higher point-of-sale cost on the boost side (with no contract obviously). interesting. it could be the first android on an american pre-paid service...

i disagree with the decision to make any android phone on iden...it's almost like putting cutting edge phones like the droid and iPhone on analog...data over iden is much, much slower than 1x CDMA or EV-DO...but i agree that a pre-paid android would actually be a good idea...at first glance it does not look like it meets the rugged military specs like the blackberry curve on the nextel side...
