Motorola to try again with Cyber Monday Motorola Moto X sale on December 9th

With the Moto Maker suffering through technical difficulties on Monday, the Google subsidiary took the Cyber out of Cyber Monday. While it was hoped that the sale, which takes $150 off the price of the Motorola Moto X, would resume as soon as today, it appears that next the sale will be offered once again on December 9th...

Um, Alan, the way you wrote the article makes it sound like they didn't actually do the sale today. They did, and they're doing it again on Monday. Thought you might like to clarify.

This is such a ridiculous way to have a sale. It was originally promoted as a FULL DAY SALE, not some extremely limited code system for a few minutes. Really uncool.

It was designed to keep the site from overloading again. Frankly, the whole point of Black Friday/Cyber Monday is to have doorbuster prices on limited quantities. Motorola might have had hundreds of thousands of codes set aside. It's not their fault so many people wanted the deal that it sold out in 8 minutes.
