Motorola puts some light on 2006 plans

Motorola has given some hints about its plans for the year 2006. The company will take a page from Apple Computer Inc's playbook in attempt to start shipping phones the day after they've been announced rather than unveiling them much earlier. Motorola also plans to introduce new mobile phones with popular designs such as devices with a spinning or a sliding cover. Motorola, Inc has announced that it is planning to reveal new ROKR for 2006 too. The new device will have a slide design and will sport a 1 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm standard headset jack as well as enough storage capacity to hold 1,000 songs (about 4GB).
