Motorola i856 - a good-looking iDEN slider

Imagine a future, where iDEN phones rule the world! We know, it can’t be that bad. But as you see, Motorola seems to be putting a lot of effort into making some decently-looking, maybe even pretty, handsets for the iDEN network. First, it was the Stature i9 clamshell, and now, a few images of a nice slider have leaked. We are speaking of the so-called i856, which shows off a stylish design with a striking red keypad, similarly to Samsung’s newly announced UltraTOUCH. Well, apart from the red keypad, the two phones have really nothing in common. The PTT-capable i856 has a completely acceptable 2.2-inch screen, modest 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 support and a microSD card slot for additional storage space. Moto is said to roll it out around the end of Q3 2009, at a slightly lower price than the one of the i9.

we ll jus keep business customers on the iden side, cuz consumers dont buy this crap anymore... nextel sucks when it comes to service and especially text messaging
