i actually know some phones already have intel inside, hell, i was shocked of what intel achieved with the lenovo k8000 processor at mwc 2012....
my point was that intel is manufacturing more processors (more advanced ones) to be used in androids :D which, i think, will lead to intel also dominating the mobile processors market :D

I'd like to see a dual core Atom processor inside a phone, that would be real power in a phone.

A Nexus with an Intel chip would be pretty cool.

Moto is advertising as if intel is gonna drop i7 in it...edge to edge power...huh!!!

Anyway...1core Atom should be fine for low/mid price range device.

You think they are going to have a joint event to announce a low/mid range device?

i mean 1core Atom chip they'll deploy...is good only for low/mid range devices...it'll have 1core cpu clocked at 1.6 and overclocked sgx540 gpu perhaps at 500mhz (guess)

Frequency and count of cores doesn't tell all truth about performance. ;)

I'm excited I've been stuck with my Photon for a while now and I want a new Moto phone and I don't want a keyboard like with the Photon Q. Hopefully they'll release something good on Sprint.

I'm thinking that it might be safe to say that this might come with WP8.

it's probably just a Razr M with an Atom for a US Carrier. hopefully T-Mobile.

yeah, T-Mobile is my second favorite carrier so i'm personally interested in there being a good Moto on the carrier just in case you know?

Yeah, I know. I would've switched to Verizon earlier this year, if the closest LTE market weren't 60 miles away from me. Meanwhile, T-Mo was kind enough to get HSPA+ to reach into my little town. It's nice to get around 10 Mbps in my town, especially since if I were on any other carrier I would be stuck on 3G. I know it's not nearly as good as my home Wifi, or LTE in any major markets, but it's still nice; especially considering the country area I'm in. Now all I need is a phone with a Moto antennae, because my GS2 keeps dropping my signal as soon as I put it in my pocket.

Also, it's nice to be on a GSM carrier, because if your favorite phone doesn't seem to be coming out on your carrier, there is always the option to get the global version, and still take advantage of HSPA+. Especially since, in some areas, HSPA+ gets as fast as LTE; though that's HSPA+ 42 instead of 21 that's usually the standard for global phones, but still.

i actually saw my first HSPA+ 42mbps burst today while i was doing a speed test on an SIII in Costco. it came out to be 15mbps D/2mbps U which really isn't bad. the Play Store certainly felt zippy enough but a Motorola would go a long way there for sure.

yeah, if i had to go to T-Mo right now i'd probably get a Galaxy Nexus from the Google Play Store and just upgrade to something else later.

I've read of people averaging 20 Mbps, and a few that have seen bursts up to 25-30. Pretty decent for HSPA+.

i'd imagine that T-Mobile's market down here in FL is pretty saturated.

Could this be the Motorola Nexus device, powered by an Intel mobile processor yes with edge to edge display and 2500mAh battery. All the usual bells and whistles 2GB RAM, 720p 4.5"-4.8" screen and Motorola favorite HDMI output, quad core and fully optimized running jellybean. Rear 8MP cam with 1080p recording and a Sony censor.

I wish that it was true what you say, but I don't think that it will be quad-core CPU, I think it will be single-core or dual-core.
Also I wish that it had LCD instead of OLED based display.

Damn it! Only WP8 & iOS can catch the attention of an average smartphone user. All this talk about chipset is making me sick! Give us gOOd performance along with ease of use! It's the mobile phone and not a mobile computer!!
