Verizon Wireless just announced the new Motorola MOTO Z6c, which is a global phone as it is CDMA/GSM hybrid. In the US, it uses Verizon’s CDMA/EV-DO network, while supporting 900/1800 MHz GSM can also be used in any network of this type (Europe, Asia). The Z6c is now available online for $179.99 after $50 rebate and a new two-year contract. Once the global service is activated, customers can use the Z6c in more than 180 countries; abroad, a minute costs $1.29 or $2.49 (depending on the country) while a text message is $0.25.

The Motorola MOTO Z6c is a slider with QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, Stereo Bluetooth and microSD slot for memory. It is very similar to the Z6tv but don’t have the Mobile TV feature.
