Motorola XOOM available for pre-order in the UK

The Motorola XOOM Honeycomb tablet has been available in the U.S. for more than a week already, and if you happen to live across the pond you can now pre-order one for yourself as well. Two British online retailers have listed the device as available for pre-order with deliveries starting as early as within the first week of April.

As far as pricing goes, PC World has listed the Motorola XOOM for £499.99 (a little over $810), which will get you the Wi-Fi only model of the tablet. PC World also promises its customers the privilege of being among the first in Europe to get their hands on a Motorola XOOM should they choose to pre-order the tablet from them. On the other hand, if 3G is a must for you, The Carphone Warehouse offers the unlocked, contract-free 3G + Wi-Fi variant of the Motorola XOOM with a price tag of £599.99 (a little over $970) and promises to start shipments in April.
