Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi model coming to Canada in April

Okay, feel free to argue with us on this one: Doesn't it feel strange to announce that a Wi-Fi-only model of a device is arriving in a particular country? Devices are only tied to their region by carriers and language support, so Canadians could presumably order a Motorola XOOM from the U.S. without spending too much on shipping.
But Motorola Mobility Canada is still proud to be receiving the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. In a press release, Motorola said that the XOOM Wi-Fi will be available in Canada in April. They didn't specify when in April, but another source indicated it would be near the beginning of the month. And their 3G variant is expected mid-year.
Canadian sources are now reporting that the XOOM Wi-Fi is available for pre-order from both Best Buy and Future Shop, for the same $599.99 as in the U.S. And shipping dates are estimated around April 8th.
