Motorola PHOTON 4G owners, Motorola wants you

Motorola is looking for 1,000 Motorola PHOTON 4G owners to help the company test a software update for the device; this so-called "soak test" is done by the manufacturer to make sure that an update is working on a small number of phones before it is released to all owners of a particular model...

While I know the GS2 Epic the Second is still top dawg for Android in Sprints line up, I am a huge fan of the PHOTON. Hope someone in our community here gets to participate in this so they can share how it went after the soak test is done. Be very interested in this experience...

I disagree, Sprint is marketing the SGS2EPT4G like its the top dog, but the Photon and the Evo 3D are better spec wise

Now I know the patriots are playing right now, and I'm drinking too, but how exactly is the SGS2 second fiddle to the Photon or Evo 3D? Processor, Exynos. Camera, Samsung. 16GB memory, Samsung. 4.5" SAMOLED, Samsung. GPU, Mali, Samsung.
Anything else I'm forgetting?
Uh, kickstand. Motorola.

Resolution? Probably the most important thing about a phone!

resolution is really important with a phone i agree, but most important? compare screens to the Epic touch to Evo 3D and Photon, then you will retract that statement. Processor my friend will probably be the more important factor...should be the first decision mad when making a phone.

i have been trying to get rid of the evo 3d at a reasonable price for months. no one will buy. who really wants this pos. after being rooted and custom rom it still lags, it's supposed to be a dual core. nope turns out its semi dual core pos

I'm sorry to say most dual core phones don't use both cores together it usually use one or the other depending on the program requirements, this is why we are waiting for ice cream sandwhich to fix the software error its not the hardware fault, this is also why apple waited before putting a dual core in the iphone because most of the phones function can be handle by single core processor.
if you want to see both processors working it takes a high res game with a lot function still its only one processor firing at a time after the other but its the closest you'll ever get until it requires both

Wonder what it could be. The Photon is by far the best phone I have ever owned and that's out of box.
