If you like the Active Display on the upcoming Motorola Moto X handset, but aren't planning on buying the phone itself, you can actually add the feature to your own Android phone thanks to the ActiveNotifications app; for those who haven't seen the Active Display on the Moto X, it allows you to see notifications and app alerts even when your phone is locked...

Not as refined, this doesn't light up part of the screen and has low resolution images.

Point proven. Nokia fanboys are everywhere. Go away and take a photo of something no one cares about.

Can your nokia Glance interact with your notifications? Your Nokia phone doesn't even have a notification centre! And i heard alot of people having issues with recieving notifications from Facebook an Whatsapp
Go away TROLL

This "always on" notification was present in almost all features phones that I had... So let's stop this "I did it first" thing and be happy that today we can have it on our smartphones too. Otherwise we all know how did the first cellphone, don't we?

Sorry, I have to disagree with you.

Good luck with the battery life when the voice command arrives, I'm sure you are ready to swipe battery twice a day.

The Moto X's selling point isn't based on it's features, but the whole experience that the phone can provide. Moto X was design to have those features always on and keep the performance and battery life intact.
