The Moto G Forte seems to be available in Mexico as of now. The smartphone doesn't offer new features when compared to the original Moto G...

So basically, thousands of people already own a Moto G Forte before it has even been released. I don't know why Motorola would bother doing this.

I feel ashamed to be a Moto fan today....lol.

I could put a better case on mine than that....and call it Moto G Hardened Edition

Hell you can even call it Moto G Hard On Edition while you're at it, it'd still be good.

I don't know if it's quite that bad. The big question is if the case is removable.

If it is then the concept is crap and there was no point in renaming it...

If the case is integral to the phone then I could actually see a benefit, because it will probably have a lot better build quality than that composite case on a standard phone, feel better in the hand, and be much longer lasting.

Between not having an SD slot and only 8GB on-board, no removable battery, and now this let-down, I'd say they are on a roll.

This phone could have been so much more, but in my opinion, it's just an iPhone running a better OS at a lower price, that's it. Not bad, just not totally impressive.

To be clear I'm not hating on Moto as I'm waiting out for a G+ or a larger sequel w/ Snapdragon 410 laters but seriously this is something I'd expect from some no name 3rd rate Android OEM not them.

I mean like what the flying f -.-:::: Slap a complementing official accessory = hard shell to a product and boom it's a NEW MODEL already?

This is exhibit A of a diversification standard going down to the sh*tter....

I was hoping for a non-removable backed thinner version. Oh well.
