It is not much of a difference really, the 520 has some advantages imo like the 8gb internal vs 4g with (2gb) usable. No 720p recording.

Really comes down to $70 vs $120.

From the sounds of the article it supports only 3g but then on their spec page it shows 4g.

Might be a mistake....I just came from the Moto site and there a lil blurb about pre ordering a Moto G LTE and the Moto E is listed also., as in its separate phones.

The moto e has 1gb of ram vs 512mb for the 520, the moto e has a dual core 1.2ghz CPU vs the 520 dual core 1ghz CPU, the moto e is water resistant and has gorilla glass. The 520 has no water resistance and no gorilla glass. The moto e is dual Sim vs the 520 is not. The moto e has a higher resolution display vs the lower resolution display on the 520. I always loved how people would compare the 520 to the moto g. The moto g was superior in every way compared to a 520. Just like the moto e is superior to the 520.

lumia 520 has 1ghz cortex a15 b(krait) vs cortex a7 1.2ghz. lumia 520 is twice superior interms of processor. dont look at clock speed (ghz) loook at processor type,

if you want 1 gig of ram there is lumia 525.

if you want to see how powerfull lumia 520 is go to youtube and check how it handle gta san andrea (2.8gig game)

about screen moto e 256ppi vs 233ppi there is no much difference

and lumia 520 has adreno 305 compare to adreno 302 of moto e

Lol dont tell me lumia 520 handled san andreas with 512mb ram, even my laptop which had 512mb ram back then, stuttered and had extremely low framerates. It must be 525 with 1gb ram.

The Playstation 2 only had 4MB of ram and handled it fine. And the last gen consoles have about 512MB, and look at the games they put out.

Was gonna reply but Hemedans did so for me.

Point being is that the processor is weaker in the moto, including the GPU. The a7 dual 1.2 is not the same as the a15 krait in the lumia.

With the nokia cam app, i would take low light photos any day in the 520/21 over the moto, imo that is since we havent seen pics yet.

No water resistance, oh a splash guard, great, i will wait for the calls to come in about the person who doesnt know what that means. Gorilla glass is nice, yes, then again my 521 has survived drops and a 2yr old, so no worries there.

Higher resolution display? By such a small amount you will never notice.

Camera in the moto g doesnt even have 720p capture, it has less onboard memory for starters. 2gb vs 6gb. And when you do want to start, since 8.1 now supports everything to the sd, it will double the capacity what the offical moto e can do, and would garner that it might even be able to detect 128gb.

Superior in every way? Uh no, superior in about 2, glass and screen. Dual sim? meh for me, and other options imo out do this device.

It is a good device, but imo in no way superior to the 520 which is now cheaper.

Lumia 520 has got dual core 1ghz Krait processor and adreno 305 gpu which are much better in terms of performance and gaming... Plus it has 720p video recording...

about as relevant as a more expensive device with a less powerfull option, and less memory, and probably (going out on a limb) a worse camera too...

Yeah, nice and cheap, according some sources. If you work in the Texas facility, start looking for another job. This, is going to be produce in China to cut cost.

What does that have to do with the Moto X? They only produce the Moto X at that facility, and I think it might be only the ones sold in the US (I don't know for sure about that)

$129 when you can get a Moto G for $99 or $119...

I think the price is based off the Moto website price. The Moto G is listed as 179 there.

If you can get the G for 99 to 119....expect this to be even lower from a carrier.
