Motorola MILESTONE receives a minor update - still waiting for Android 2.2

It was only a month ago when Motorola MILESTONE owners were presented with an update for Android 2.1, but now there is a minor update available for owners to check out. As much as some would be ecstatic to hear that it could be something like an update for Froyo, this one is for Motorola MILESTONE owners in Greece and is actually a minor one that is nothing more than a bugfix update. The MR2.5 update essentially addresses some issues with the smartphone and includes a host of performance and stability improvements. In addition, it hones in on issues regarding random power cycling, force closes, the alarm clock, and music capabilities. We'd imagine that the update will be soon available to other countries in the next couple of weeks, but naturally the thought of Froyo is probably ingrained deeply into the mind of owners right now more than anything else.

I for one am very happy with this. my milestone has a lot of problems on the ui force close and music department. I hate the fact that i need to turn my music volume down if i plug out the headphones because at any moment in time i could just turn on blasting on it's own! froyo would be great but this first is also a good thing
