Motorola MILESTONE XT720 is already receiving a specs boost
The Motorola MILESTONE XT720 might've gotten some people excited as it would fit in perfectly for those who are into multimedia as it packs on a nice 8-megapixel shooter with Xenon flash and the ability to shoot videos in 720p. However, after delving a bit deeper into its specs, some may have been irked by the fact that the handset was sporting a 550MHz processor with only 256MB of RAM – something that clearly stuck out like a sore thumb versus some of the other impressive items it packs on. Thankfully Motorola was in tune with the criticism and is already giving the handset a much needed specs boost to bring it into a level that should fit it accordingly. Now the handset will be rocking out a TI OMAP3440 processor clocking in at 720MHz – which is pretty nice in itself, but most likely compromises on battery life. In addition, RAM is now doubled to a respectable 512MB which should place it into the higher end spectrum of Android phones. Now if only other manufacturers were quick to resolve any criticisms like this one, but we'd imagine that Moto is doing whatever they can to appease the masses – let's hope it translates into sales for them.
