Motorola ELECTRIFY goes on sale at midnight through US Cellular's web site - in stores 9/26
Early last week, we got the good word about US Cellular’s intent on selling the Motorola ELECTRIFY for $199.99 with a contract, but its exact launch date eluded us – well, that’s up until now.

Apparently, US Cellular customers can look forward to buying the handset online starting tonight when the clock hits midnight on the dot for $199.99 with a 2-year agreement. Without question, it’s going to be the only option for those itching customers who really want to be early adopters, since it’s not scheduled to arrive in store until Monday, September 26th.

Being touted as a cutting-edge device, the Motorola ELECTRIFY is essentially US Cellular’s version of Sprint’s Motorola PHOTON 4G. Specifically, it features a 4.3” qHD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel auto focus camera, front-facing VGA camera, full 1080p video recording, HDMI & DLNA, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Plus, it’s worth noting that the handset is also a world-phone – allowing it to work overseas on other GSM networks.

Adding yet more good news, the good team over at US Cellular informed us that customers on Belief Plans who are eligible for an upgrade can actually pick up the Motorola ELECTRIFY for $199.99 without signing a contract. Pretty sweet for them indeed, especially when they're getting the savings that are usually given to new customers signing contracts.
