Don't really think you deserve the -6 in the post rating, except for maybe your first line, could do without that. I do have to agree with you that the iphone was the first and only, for a while, to bring the whole web browsing experience to the 21st century. By them doing this they have brought competition to the marketplace. Now even Apple is gonna have to step up. Have you seen the display on the Droid !! AMAZING !! I guarantee that Apple will step up with the next generation of iphone. They have to now, and I would put money on it that they will. Apps: Apple does have more, by a longshot, but honestly, how many of them are just fluff? I have been on the Android Marketplace since I got my Droid on the 6th and feel that even with 12,000 apps there is a ton of fluff there too. But, 2000 apps in the last week added?? watch out !!! PS, I am writing this on my macbook pro and have PC's as well. Just switched from a winmo phone as well. So I really have no bias either way. I just like what I like....

Yeah the first line is below the belt but I am so sick and tired of iphone lovers think that NOTHING out there has any value, and that iphone haters cannot recognize how good of a device it is (for it intended use, personal smartphone).

I think the whole beef with iPhone was it was just rubbed in everyone's face who had one. For the same reason you get mad when you see your broke ass neighbor driving an escapade. Everyone had on and everyone was so absorbed it was annoying. That's why I hate the iPhone not cause of lacks of network or any other of the BS. It turns people into zombies. I sat at an Olive Garden watching a single mom have dinner with her 2 kids under 10 years old and she couldn't even pay attention to them she HAD to touch it just to see if someone texts her in 5 seconds. I've stood in line for a movie and watched a guy just flicking through it, he wasn't accessing, browsing, emailing or nothing...he was controlling that's it, zombiefied. That's what I hate about it, there's nobody out there that actually uses it, its a ME TO phone and a show off toy to touch and slide around. People ruined this phone not apple. ... I TOO am on the Droid and Screw "theman10" he's an idiot wasn't impressed.....OK...... -3 for you

I never had an iPhone but I do have an iTouch and also a Droid. I will be selling my iTouch because I have no need for it anymore. The Display is better on the Droid and I have found all the apps I could want on the Droid and a lot more free apps. All the good apps in the app store for the iTouch are priced but I can pretty much get anything I want on the Droid for free. I really liked the iTouch and it was a great device but the Droid is just as good if not better. It also seems faster than the iTouch and that is with the iTouch on WiFi. The only thing the Droid could use is a better battery but I have been fooling with the phone like crazy since I got it and once I stop playing around with it for no reason the battery will last longer. However, the navigation is great. Its like I bought a GPS and not a phone. I don't mind the keyboard and gets easy to use quickly but I wish they could have put a number line on and it would be centered. Last but not least I love the feeling of the phone. It's heavy and very solid. Some people might not like the weight but it is nice to feel like it is put together very well. Some apps I recommend for the Droid: Ringdroid - Lets you create your own ringtones from your music. Very easy to cut the part of the song you want as the ringtone or notification. Mabilo - Some good ringtones on it. Retro Clock - Very nice simple digital clock and date Sorry for any grammatical mistakes...I didn't feel like reading over the post.

I actually had a chance to play around with a DROID this weekend. The screen is nice since VZW finally pulled in a phone with a capacitive screen. Honestly I don't get the buzz with this phone though. It's not a terrible phone, but I don't think it's that great. VZW finally has a phone that's not been crippled and running their ridiculous theme they have on all their other phones, but that's about it. If VZW already had the iPhone and then released this, there wouldn't be near the buzz surrounding it. Say what you want fanboys, it's the truth.
