It could be heading to South America, I know they use the same bands as at&t down there. Maybe it'll be on at&t next year; thought I still don't like the design. I love htc chins, but maybe Moto could have done w/o on this one....oh well.

I thought this product is going to have a big turn over for Moto, however, after watching this video, oops, moto, sorry, you will keep going down the hill, because of how slow is your phone.

Yea, over on Engadget, someone commented that the dude didn't wait for the phone to completely load, the lag wasn't even that bad...

This device is even slower than LG Chocolate BL40 and BL40 is already so laggy and sluggish. If you have seen today's touch screen smartphones, how can you say that the lag wasn't that bad. You can't find a phone that slow these days. Plus, how long does a phone to load? I can see that the video has been edited which tells us that they have waited for the phone to load. I know that the device hasn't been officially released yet but this just seems too horrible to compete with the phones like HTC HD2, SE X2,3, and etc.

They are deeming this phone the iphone killer??? Based on the video this phone is exremely uninteresting and the design is lackluster and its probably very heavy...Im sorry Verizon users but this is supposed to be like the 6th iphone killer and it simply doesnt look like it could kill anything...If this phone that was sooo hyped up by verizon cant beat the iphone, there may never be a phone that will...People that dont use and iphone dont understand how smooth and quick an iphone runs...And ive never had a dropped call on my iphone and ive had it since august... I expect the successor to the iphone 3gs to be even better...other phones will never catch up..if so, it woulda happened by now..

the iphone is ugly. at least change it up a bit after 3 versions. i mean look at the chocolate, it's constantly changing. have you gone to droiddoes.com and look at the specs? i understand an iphone, i just don't see what's so good about it.

Fanman, how do u not see whats so good about the iphone... U like the blackberry storm for christ's sake and u cannot admit that the iphone is a good phone??? We all know that if it were verizon that had the iphone and att had the storm, ud be saying the same thing bashing the storm.. I can admit a good phone when i see one regardless of the carrier.. Maybe the droid is an awesome phone i dont know but based on the video i saw i remain unimpressed.. Just admit it already that ur a fanboy who bashes everything that is non verizon and ill shut my mouth..

ughhh.... to tell you the truth, i never liked about iphone when it came out. And i am not saying iphone is a bad phone, just saying it's not my taste. Every device is not about how smooth the interface is.

let me change that.. i dont see what all the fuss is about the iphone. nothin special. and no i wouldn't be saying that, even if verizon had the iphone i wouldn't like it...it prolly has to do with my complete dislike for all apple products. and no i am not a boy. i do not bash everything that is not verizon. microsoft zune and windows 7 FTW.

no more iphones for apple..ITablet is next..meh..droid looks pretty good...but where r the row for number keys..woops..maybe next model?

its a touch screen phone. Why would you need number keys? and technically there is a row of numbers. you just have to push alt first... I like that set up better. If they added a row of numbers then they would have to mash up the space bar between the letters v and b. This keyboard looks great imo

If this phone came to t-mobile, with there new plans... I'd die. But its not likely. And i'm not really diggin the silver accent gsm version. I like the gold accented cdma version better. But i'd take either.

It does not matter which carrier this moto goes to, whether CDMA or GSM version, this moto is just slow. Verizon sucks, when the users go overseas, the phone roaming bill is going to be huge. GSM, T-mobile or AT&T is good, users go overseas, you can call 611 to get the code to unlock the phone, get the local country sim card, no roaming charges. Nice! When the users in NYC or some other cities, it won't have that much big difference of the signal. By the end of this year, ATT's and T-mobile's 3G are going to have the 7.2mps, moreover, T-mobile is going to jump to 21mps by the end of 2010. What about verizon's 3G speed? Verizon's plan is too expensive to have just a little better signal than those GSM carriers.
