Motorola DROID X2 is hot-literally

Reports have been circulating on the web about an overheating problem with the Motorola DROID X2; the problem could be the result of having the unit plugged in a power source, a battery failure, or just from playing games on the Tegra 2 powered handset...

This is just another Motorola screw-up. They can't seem to manufacture phones without serious faults - just take a look at their support forums.

I think we've gone too far when phones need intercoolers. I'm going buy a waterproof case and keep in an icechest right next to my beer.

third one with the same overheat problem .... i called verizon this time and they said it was "impossible" for that to be true. not much i can do at this point.

My Droid X2 gets crazy hot, especially when playing games, surfing web, & surfing Android market. Feels like it's been sitting in the Texas sun.
