Moto does it right! ;]
i won't be in a big hurry to get this but if there's going to be a Moto Nexus then i'll be one launch camping ass.

I'm actually stoked by what Moto will come up with and considering it's under google's control it is going to be what every one wanted. Pure Google experience on a sturdy, non power starved device. Lets hope Moto gets the memo, 2GB of RAM standard and Google please, please add built in app permissions that allow you to completely stop apps from auto starting and auto rebooting or caching themselves into memory when you definitely do not want it. I hate that so damn much, it's my phone I want only necessary programs up and my memory free to run programs when I want to run them and that's it.

a Moto Nexus would put the Galaxy S line to shame and i respect what the S line has done for android.

Motorola Nexus with a huge battery... I don't even know anything anymore. So many options.
Next Nexus (might have to choose between 5 of them)
Razr HD MAXX
One X+
Optimus G
I'm leaning towards the HTC or Motorola Nexus since I'm done with software overlays and lack of updates. The Motorola one especially since I want that antennae and battery.

yeah, if there's not a Moto Nexus i'm going to get the bootloader unlocked version of either the HD or the MAXX HD and wait for the AOKP support.

I swore off Moto back in 02 when my T720 couldn't hold a charge for a day and the port fell apart. 10 years latter they have a phone with a huge battery and people are hoping for a new one(Nexus). Times a changing.

I'm tired of this "Android user" crap! My android phones (DROID 1, DROID X, DROID RAZR) have all given me at least a day and a half (36 hours) of battery life the X and the RAZR gave me at least 2 days, the one phone that wouldn't last 12 hours was the iPhone 4s I had for a week, that thing was a POS! And I LOVE The build quality of the new RAZR HD line, but I prefer a slimmer device (otterbox in a shirt pocket, the RAZR (not HD or MAXX) is super slim, even in its otterbox commuter) , so I think i'm going to go with the RAZR HD not the MAXX

i'll have to actually handle them before i decide which one i get because the difference seems so minimal that it would be nearly impossible to decide now unless you know exactly what you want which i don't. xD

I get all day regular use on a 1650mah battery on my SGS1. "All day use" isnt something new unless your a tard that leaves every app open in the background or set a bunch of email accounts to "push email" instead of checking it at regular intervals.
I bet I could get 3-6 days of charge out of the maxx without trying, and with regular use. I am using 2 gigs a month right now just for google music syncing (lots of gym use)
30. 305Bucko posted on 15 Sep 2012, 21:56 0 0
ummm push email saves battery life... interval checking of emails is what kills battery since the phone has to wake to check for something that is not there, where as push does not request information but rather the information is pushed (hence the name) and the device is awakened when there is an actual email available, thus eliminating the need to check regularly.
The only time push email may use more battery is if you are constantly getting email at which point setting the device to auto-check at one hour intervals will result in less times awakening since it can fetch 3-4 emails in one time rather than being awakened 3-4 times in an hour.
However if you get 3-4 emails per hour, you are probably an important individual, in which case getting your emails promptly in order to respond accordingly becomes an urgency in which battery life should not become an obstacle.
Long story short: ...you're dumb

A "tard" is someone who leaves apps open on a phone that's optimized to prolong battery life while multitasking out the wazoo? Or someone who actually works/goes to school/needs more than one pertinent email account without having to worry about manually grabbing new messages?
I usually don't care about people posting comments like this, but come on... think outside yourself just for a minute. There's a corporate world -- just because you're not a part of it, doesn't mean it's not there. 2 gigs a month from streaming Google Music at the gym means you go to the gym at least an hour a day. There's at least 10% battery right there -- oh wait you're talking about the SGS1 with a 1 GHZ single core Cortex-A8 processor using 3G.
POST SOMETHING WITH RELEVANCE; if being a tard means being fiscally responsibly and leading one's own life, so be it. I bet the Razr Maxx could have you in the gym for 24 hours straight -- prove me wrong.

Oh, one more thing I've found, if you have an ICS phone, put it to "sleep" every night, you won't be able to accept texts or calls, but it extends my batterylife on my RAZR, so far I'm pushing THREE DAYS per charge REGULARLY! On a standard RAZR. Long live the battery indeed! Imagine what I could do with a MAXX, I could squeeze a week out of that beast!
