Motorola DROID M coming soon to Verizon, priced at $150

0. phoneArena posted on 24 Aug 2012, 02:39

Is Motorola going to unveil not one, but two new Android smartphones at the September 5 event that it is hosting with Verizon? It sure looks like it, judging by this newly discovered evidence. The leaked document that you see below reveals that Verizon will soon start offering the Motorola DROID M – a smartphone we don't know much about yet, other than its XT907 model number and whatever information its FCC filing revealed. At the same time, the Motorola DROID RAZR HD goes by the model number XT926, as the CelleBrite system shows, which indicates that we are dealing with two different smartphones...

I can truly say I hate my Droid Razr. It's very laggy and battery life is horrible. Wish I still had my HTC Trophy. WP8 here I come...

You no i had a HTC radar for awhile the windows exp is nice but it still needs time to compete with IOS or Android and the Trophy got no backing with Big Red i maybe saw 40 sold in the first few months

Yeah it does need time to compete but to be honest only AT&T and T-Mobile were backing WP. It's also more fluid than Android and you can agree with that. I just hate all the bloatware that comes with Verizons Droids cuz half you don"t use. It comes down to personal preference and the social integration on WP is by far better on WP.

That i will agree with the way WP allowed you to group certain people and see only those people status on any social network is amazing and im surprised nobody else has tried to mimic it, the bloatware is horrible both us and ATT i think sprint and tmo are ok or with standable. even working for the company im still unsure the reason Big Red wont back many WP but the new WP8 coming to us will hopefully change that

Meh. I'd rather they introduce an S4-toting, JB-running Droid 5. Without the D4's weak RGBW PenTile screen.

Breaking news! Greedy Red will charge $300 for the Razr HD. When has Verizon ever launched an exclusive flagship phone for less?

6. Supermanz28 posted on 24 Aug 2012, 08:17 1

Actually we are launching the Intuition at 199$ that will be a Flagship from LG for sure, at least we werent like Tmo and jack the price up for a S3

Verizon is greedy there are no ways around it. There plans are ridiculously overpriced, 80$ for prepaid with only 1 GB of data? Not even just those prices but Verizon is charging 80$ for a flip phone with a 1.3 camera, wtf? I know this is all on Verizon's site but everything directly from them is too expensive. The Trophy is 180$ and it's been out for more then a year. At least with T-mobile you can afford to pay more for the device up front because your paying less for service not 110$ month like Verizon.

yeah, i'm thinking 1.2GHz S4, 4.3" qHD ColorBoost Display, 8MP Camera, 1785mAh Battery, NFC and a real thin design for this bad boy. something to directly succeed the Droid Razr. maybe it'll be called the Droid M but i'm holding out for Droid Razr 2 still. whatever it's called it should be a good improvement over the original Droid Razr so i may baby step to a white one of these and work my way up to the HD.

With a Colorboost LCD, won't it be difficult to make the phone as thin as the Razr? I gather the SAMOLED was key to it being that thin. Else we're looking at something similar to the Atrix HD with smaller screen and bezel. Not a bad thing, but nothing groundbreaking.

yeah, it would probably make it a little thicker but i'd say thinner than the Atrix HD.
