Both the Motorola DROID BIONIC and LG Enlighten have been spotted on Verizon's testman site, which indicates their launch is getting closer. All indications are pointing to a September 8th launch for the DROID BIONIC, as this is what is currently showing in Verizon's InfoManager system - which is used by store employees.

I am so over bionic it will absolutely be beaten by gs2, nexus prime, and even the iphone will completely over shadow the bionic.

I totally agree with overshadowed... I've lost all faith in Motorola. Hopefully google will do something and truly kick out some phones that will truly "RULE THE AIR" for verizon. They can't go anywhere but up at this point.

I'm so dissapointed with android that waited for samsung upgrade for my tablet it never happen so I bought the iPad. Very happy! Now I was waiting for the bionic. Because of the wait I will go iPhone 5. Btw I use to totally hate apple Steve jobs and everything affiliated
10. Frustrated not disappointed (unregistered)
Well Steve Jobs is no longer running Apple. I have also been waiting on the Bionic and all the delays have been frustrating but it has only made the Bionic a better phone. I would rather wait a bit as opposed to getting a phone that is not ready or has problems because it was rushed to market. I personally prefer Motorola phones although this time I might go with the Galaxy SII or Nexus Prime. I don't think that I would settle for an Iphone 5 though I don't believe the iphone will be as good as the other options but I wish you good luck.

Does anyone else realize the bionic is just a droid 3 with 4G and minus a keyboard? anyone?

Your comparing a flat touch screen phone to a phone that carriers a slide out keyboard. lol Next!

I agree for the most part. The Bionic, however, does have more internal memory and a slightly faster CPU 1.2 vs 1.0 GHZ and a few other MINOR things that to me won't be worth purchasing.

The phone will be 1ghz not 1.2ghz. so one less thing to be not excited about

Does anyone else notice that the display for the droid bionic listed is super amoled plus, I'm pretty sure that's false, since when does motorola use samsung's screen tech, wasn't the droid bionic suppose to go with a qHD display?

Very dissapointed again very, this phone imaginativly awesome 6 months ago before it became a huge letdown. delay, delay, delay, and now that there is a ray of sunlight that it may come out soon we get hit with the specs, wow a 1ghz dual core still??????? congrats motorola and verizon you have wasted our time with a phone that is still living in a time 6 months ago. who cares about a webtop, and yeah 4GLTE will be nice but it is a droid x2 with or photon with LTE. we waited and waited for this phone and we get a slap in the face with specs that are not worth the time we have all waited. this was my next phone but now I doubt it especially if they want to charge 299.
