According to a spy shot that we found in our mailbox this morning, The Motorola DROID 4 will be released on February 10. Sure, it is only a one day difference, but imagine how frustrating it would...

I'm ready for this phone. I've been saving my upgrade for a year trying to decide which device I would be using it on.

yeah, you're right, single core(droid 2), dual core 1.0ghz(droid 3) and 512mb ram with no 4g is the same as as 1.2ghz dual core, 1gb ram and 4g

In other news, Droid 5 release date set for March 18th and Droid 6 for May 1st.

Not really, The Droid 2 was release August of 2010. And the Droid Global 2 was release at the end of Nov that year. The Droid 3 which was a much better phone than the Droid 2 or global was released in July last year. Almost a full year over the previous 2 phones. And now they are adding the Droid 4 with better specs and LTE which they should have done with the Droid 3. This will be Verizon's 1st QWERTY kybd phone with LTE.

I already tested out a dummy unit today. Its nice, cant tell the difference between this and the Maxx. Nice back lit keys. Gorilla glass, hard as a rock.

Wow, didn't realize this phone was on the Verizon network. Good looking out. Then I guess I should say the 1st Dual Core Qwerty kybd phone on the Verizon network.

@cthunder: The 1st dual-core with physical keyboard on Verizon was the Droid 3. So, try again. This will be the 1st dual-core with physical keyboard on Verizon's 4G LTE.
