Back at CES, we managed to spend a great deal of time with the Motorola DROID 4, and even though a lot of information regarding it was made known at the time, we were still in the dark in terms of an actual launch date. Well, according to the latest rumor...

Yea, makes no sense to me either. Those droids helped make Android what it is today. Your razr is the knock-off of those technically.

ok for all androids.... if you look at the Droid RAZR and the Droid RAZR MAxx both are the same.. still with me... now add the Droid 4. same design... after the Bionic all the phones relased by Moto look alike.. same shape.. kind of photonish.. (photon 4g) I know by now most of androids still dont have a clue... well.. thats too bad... change OS

and how long have iPhones looked the same now? ;P
compared to what Apple does Moto's design changes are revolutionary with all due respect to the 4/4S for being one of the nicest handsets well..ever.

yes but that what Apple is about.. millions of people get the iphone based on looks... not the case with Moto... but anyhow.. sit back and watch this Droid 4 come and go with nothing to add to the growing world of Android...

why's that not the case with Moto? the original Droid is what kicked Android into the mainstream so why change it drastically? if it's not broke don't fix it. Moto always launches pairs of devices on Verizon to fit in with their new design schemes. Droid X/Droid 2, Droid Bionic/Droid 3, Droid Razr/Droid 4. it's a pattern. i will admit Motorola and many other OEMs need to slow down though.

Im an Android user and I'm pretty sure that every phone on the shelf today will be forgotten with nothing to add once quad core, tripple screen, motion controlled, face recognition, 22 different colors, phones come out.

all moto droids look the same .. kinda gets boring after a while ...

4. captn3x posted on 01 Feb 2012, 16:34 5 2

All phones look the same.....rectangle, have a screen, a few buttons, headphone jack, charge port......I'm sort of getting sick of it.

6. GALAXY-S posted on 01 Feb 2012, 16:46

actually not all phones look the same.. the razor is a way dif phone than the droids and you can tell just by looking at it.. most all droids look the same jus like the blackberry bold line too..
All cars have wheels, seats, and windshields.. i dont see Nissan Altima looking the same after 20+ years with jus a tweek in the engine nd better tires..

That was sarcasm....so your sick of the droids but love the razor? The DROID 4 is a Razor with a keyboard. I'm confused by your argument.

9. GALAXY-S posted on 01 Feb 2012, 17:38

yea i know it was sarcasm .. im not sick of droids i mentioned it can get a bit boring , i was actually speaking of the OG droid, droid 2, droid world2, and droid 3 .. they are all similar to the 4 not much has changed.. i cant speak bad of the razor thats an overall a nice phone and im glad it doesnt have a keyboard

I might decide to trade for one later if I just can't get the hang of typing primarily on the on-screen keyboard of the Razr but it is a real nice phone with it's thinness and it's SAA Display, it even has pretty good accessory support. I just bought a Speck Fitted case for it and I should get that in a couple of days. oh and does anyone know how to remove words from the dictionary? I don't like my Is auto-capping all the time. it makes me feel like I should do more proper capitalization. :P
